چکیده
Poly (butylene succinate) (PBS) is one of the most common biodegradable plastic polymers that has recently been used in green environmental field. Enhancement physicochemical characteristics these by using plant-based materials like Baobab ( Adansonia digitata ) will improve its industrial application. This study evaluated powder (BP) and PBS composites under various ratios (PBS/BP: 90/10, 80/20, 70/30, 60/40, 50/50 wt%) for their thermo-mechanical other properties The nanoscale morphological elemental characterization were also measured scanning electron microscope-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS). results revealed PBS/BP blends 90/10 showed a significantly reduced melting temperature (T m up to 94°C p < 0.05) compared (114°C). Also, dynamic viscosity, storage modulus, loss modulus significant decrease with increasing ratio BP composite, which confirmed faster degradation than pure PBS. In conclusion, novel biomaterial recommended use as carbon source denitrification processes, an eco-friendly degradable natural filler-based polymer. Besides, they could be food packaging biomedical industries.

Nutritional variation in baobab (Adansonia digitata L.) fruit pulp and seeds based on Africa geographical regions
Baobab (Adansonia digitata L.) is an indigenous fruit tree associated with the Savannah drylands of sub-Saharan Africa. Local communities mainly utilize the leaves, pulp, and seeds of baobab as a source of food and for income generation. The present study was conducted to determine the nutritive attributes of baobab fruit pulp and seeds across provenances in east, west, and southern Africa and ...

In this study, acrylated soybean oil (AESO) was used as modifying agent for DGEBF-type epoxy resin (ER). AESO was used as a co-matrix in 50 wt % with ER. Composites with ecofriendly natural fillers-banana bark and seashell were prepared. MNA was used as a hardener. Effect of banana peel (BP) and seashell (SSh) fillers on mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, and ...
متن کاملThe history of introduction of the African baobab (Adansonia digitata, Malvaceae: Bombacoideae) in the Indian subcontinent
To investigate the pathways of introduction of the African baobab, Adansonia digitata, to the Indian subcontinent, we examined 10 microsatellite loci in individuals from Africa, India, the Mascarenes and Malaysia, and matched this with historical evidence of human interactions between source and destination regions. Genetic analysis showed broad congruence of African clusters with biogeographic...
متن کاملProximate Analysis, Phytochemical Screening and Antimicrobial Activity of Baobab (Adansonia digitata) Leaves
Baobab (Adansonia digitata L.) is known in Africa as the tree of life because there are many traditional uses for every part of it, from the leaves to the roots. This study carried out the proximate analysis of baobab leaves, screened the phytochemicals present and determined the leaves’ aqueous extract antimicrobial activity to suit the traditional way of preparation and use. Phytochemicals sc...
متن کاملStatus of African baobab (Adansonia digitata) across Gonarezhou National Park, Zimbabwe
An assessment was done to determine the abundance and structure of baobab (Adansonia digitata) across Gonarezhou National Park, Zimbabwe. Baobabs were sampled on fifteen belt transects of constant width of 300 m with fifteen baobabs in each belt transect determined the length of a particular belt transect between May and June 2012. Our results showed that there were no significant differences i...
